Meet Dr. Robinson
Originally from Southeastern Ohio, Dr. Robinson attended Marietta College and The Ohio State University receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences. In 2004 he graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, Dr. Robinson was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Dental Corps, and completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island, South Carolina. His naval service continued onboard the USS George Washington, a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier based out of Norfolk, Virginia where he served two years before his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy.
In 2009, after a two-year associateship in Cambridge, Ohio, Dr. Robinson acquired this practice.
In addition to his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Robinson also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration with a Specialization in Healthcare Management. Between 2016 and 2017 he completed a residency in implant dentistry through a year long program at Rutgers University and is an Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Established in 1951, the AAID is the only dental implant organization which requires written and oral examinations to advance in the organization, and offers credentials recognized by US state and federal courts. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health and a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Tuscarawas County Dental Society, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
He has completed extensive continuing education with the prestigious Dawson Academy, a postgraduate educational and clinical research facility in St. Petersburg, Florida dedicated to the advancement of dentistry. Rooted in the concept of “complete dentistry,” graduates of The Dawson Academy reach a higher level of understanding and skill, and are prepared to apply new principles to dentistry; recognizing that complete dentistry – understanding and exploring the complete masticatory system – is the essential key to optimal diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care enables Dr. Robinson to provide you results that are more predictable, more effective and longer lasting than traditional dental techniques.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Robinson is an avid runner and also enjoys practicing yoga and riding his 2021 Harley Davidson Road King. He and his wife Emily live in Dover.
